PERSONALITY:

Teddy is a very open book. He is never one to shy away from feelings or sugar coat things. Having lost his parents at a young age, Teddy tries to live his life to the fullest. He never says goodbye without saying ‘I love you’ to a loved one, or something of the sort. He does his best to fix problems as soon as he can. Teddy hates the idea of someone dying still angry at him. Teddy, at times, can be very protective. He would kill for the ones he loves without hesitation. Vic, Lily Potter, and the other women in his life, Teddy is especially protective of them.

On the other side of the spectrum, Teddy doesn’t handle negative feelings well. When he’s arguing with someone, its bad. When Teddy and Vic were broken up, he couldn’t even use his Metamorphmagus correctly. At times, he won’t be able to change his appearance at all, or he won’t be able to stop it from changing. When Teddy is upset, his hair is always black. When he’s upset, Teddy is withdrawn and silent. He doesn’t like to talk about it, but he likes to have Vic around. She always makes him feel better.

HISTORY:

Theodore Remus Lupin was born April 17, 1998. When Teddy was only three weeks old, his mother and father died. His grandmother, Andromeda Tonks, was his main caregiver until her death in Teddy’s seventh year. Andromeda died October of his final year, and Teddy then spent his holidays at the Potter house. After finishing school, Teddy joined the Auror office and moved into his own flat. He still goes to the Potter house for dinner three or four times a week.

Growing up, Teddy was very close with the Potter and Weasley families. He spent weekends, holidays and birthdays with the families. Teddy was the oldest of the second generation, but the closest in age to him was Victoire Weasley, who was only two years younger. Victoire was his closest friend, maybe even his best friend. The last few years at Hogwarts, Teddy struggled with his feelings. He had always felt a family sort of love for Victoire, but it started changing when he was sixteen. He did his best to discourage those feelings. The worked fine, until Victoire started dating a fellow student, Dorian. It was then that Teddy decided to do something about his feelings. He fought Dorian, and lost on purpose. After the fight, Victoire and Teddy got together.

Victoire and Teddy were together for four years, until Dorian came back in 2022.. He told Vic the truth of the duel, and she was furious. The pair ended up breaking up for several months in December of 2022. It wasn’t until May of 2023 that they got back together. Several weeks later, Teddy proposed. A wedding is set for November.

Christmas time was always hard to Teddy. He loved his family, he truly did. The Potter and Weasley families, his girlfriend Victoire, he loved them all. But, at Christmas time? Teddy missed his parents. The parents he never knew, the parents he had no memories of. Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks died May 2nd, 2000. Teddy had been three weeks old. Sitting on a bench, Teddy looked at his mother and father’s tombstones.

Remus Lupin, March 10th, 1960 - May 2nd, 2998.
Nymphadora Tonks, January 28th, 2973 - May 2nd, 1998.

“Hi Mom, Dad. Sorry it’s been a while,” Teddy paused. He tried to remember the last time he came to see his parents. He realized it must have been shortly after Vic and he broke up. “I think you’d be glad to here that Vic and I are back together. Actually, we’re going to get married. I finally got some balls and asked. Four years, almost five, it took me to ask,” he laughed softly. Talking to his mum and dad was therapeutic, it made him feel better. Teddy knew his parents were watching over him always, but it was different talking to them in person.

“I should probably go now. Vic and I are going to Uncle Harry’s for dinner, and then we’ll have Christmas at Molly and Arthur Weasley’s house tomorrow. It should be crazy, all the Weasley and Potter offspring will be there,” Teddy stood up. After kissing the tips of his fingers, he placed them on the tombstones. “I love you, Mum and Dad. I promise, it won’t be as long before my next visit.” Teddy looked up, hearing the familiar crack of apparition. Looking through the falling snow, Teddy spotted his gorgeous fiancee. Stepping away from his parents, he grasped Vic’s hand, and kissed her softly.

“Ready for dinner, Love?”
